What is “Bioengineering: BioSystems?” Bioengineering: BioSystems is an interdisciplinary engineering field that focuses on the organization and interaction of components in complex engineering and biological structures and designs. Engineering is playing an increasing role in physiology and medicine, with applications ranging from characterization of molecular, cellular and physiological systems to biomedical methods and devices.
 
The Bioengineering: BioSystems major will prepare students for careers in research and development of applications across a wide domain of physiology and medicine or advanced study in biology, medicine and engineering.

Current undergraduate students are encouraged to be aware of their own progress toward graduation. To achieve this, students should keep up-to-date a flowchart that is marked for each course with the year/quarter it is completed and the grade received.


Freshmen

If you have satisfied one or more courses by Advance Placement ("AP") from high school, enroll in the next course in the series (e.g. if "AP" exempts you from MATH 20A, enroll in MATH 20B).
