Position Summary
The Shu Chien - Gene Lay Department of Bioengineering in the Jacobs School of Engineering at the University of California, San Diego is seeking one or more temporary lecturers to teach one or two courses for the upcoming Academic Year (SP25, FA26, WI26, SP26 quarters). We are particularly interested in applicants with the expertise to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in bioengineering. This can include biomaterials and the fundamentals of materials science as applied to bioengineering design, biomechanics, tissue engineering and/or the manipulation of multicellular processes. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Bioengineering, or a related Engineering or Health Sciences discipline, and must have demonstrated evidence of effective teaching.
