Event Description
This event is dedicated to building professional connections between UC San Diego bioengineering undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral students and academic/industry professionals who identify as women or other marginalized genders.
About the Event
Please join us for the 1st Annual Women in Bioengineering Networking Night! We are bringing together UCSD students of all levels with local industry and academic professionals to cultivate the participation and success of women and other marginalized genders in the bioengineering workforce. The venue will be outdoors and food and beverages will be provided.
This year's keynote speaker is Mary Canady, founder and CEO of Biotech Networks, a company committed to accelerating research by connecting biotechnology professionals. This event will be used to launch our Women in Bioengineering Professionals Database and generate direct mentorship relationships, both of which are optional for attendees to participate in.
