Event Description
The UC San Diego Biomedical Engineering Society is hosting our annual Translational Medicine Day (TMD) on Friday, March 4th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST. TMD intends to celebrate the growing potential of translational medicine, a growing discipline that aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by streamlining the process through which medical discoveries end up in the healthcare space.
The event will feature a Keynote Speaker, Ethics Panel, MD/PhD Admissions Panel, Start-ups Panel, Speaker Sessions, and Industry Demonstrations. There will also be a networking reception to close the event, where you can interact with presenters more closely. Feel free to tune into the events that interest you the most!
