Social media is increasingly used as a tool to positively impact the career of scientists and medical professionals. This talk shares examples of how STEM and medical students at Caltech and USC are being taught to use social media in a professional context. It describes the need for such trainings and closes with recommendations that current STEM and medical professionals can use to develop a professional social media presence.
